Valerian Film GmbH, the production company of "Beyond Remedy", is located in Berlin and run by owners Helmar Baum und Udo Bomnüter who have known each other since their kindergarten days. With more than ten years in business, Valerian has produced one short film and seven full-length motion pictures. Among these are successful TV thrillers such as "Verführt - Eine gefährliche Affäre" (aka: "Fatal Online Affair") and "Dein Mann wird mir gehören" (aka: "Possession") as well as theatrical co-productions "Gomez – Kopf oder Zahl" and "Süperseks", the latter of which has been released through Warner Bros. Germany.

The international horror thriller "Beyond Remedy" is our latest production. It’s a clearly positioned genre movie with a strong cast and an outstanding visual world. Consequently there has been strong interest in the film both on a national and international level: In February 2009, "Beyond Remedy" has been picked by Constantin Film for German distribution. International sales are handled by Boll World Sales, who already joined the project in an early stage. By now they have sold the film to Australia, U.K., and Benelux, among others.

Several follow-up projects are currently in development, among them the mystery thriller "The Forest Dark" and the German-Spanish co-production "Duende".
